Rather than phoning in some more dull posts, I am going to let things be here for the rest of the long weekend. I hope you are all finding ways to enjoy it.

Happy Easter!
I’ve really never seen a happier bus-driver.

We were all getting off to walk because the bus was stuck in the snow.

I really love this photo. Would you mind if I made a print of it? It captures the essence of eastern canada winter. I can’t believe the bus was actually stuck in the snow. It’s best use of “digital look” ive ever seen (photo is enhanced by the limitations of digital’s frequency range)

Tristan,
The bus itself wasn’t stuck in the snow, but it was stuck behind a semi that had made a really stupid turn and gotten stuck - blocking traffic in both directions completely for several kilometres (all the way from LeBreton Flats to the intersection beside the TLC complex).
Of course you are welcome to make a print of the photo. I can send you a much higher resolution version of the original, as well as a higher resolution version with the modifications I have made here.
Specifically, I significantly brightened the doorway of the bus, then applied a dark strokes filter.
