Golly. You wore jeans on this epic journey?

Do you feel like an explorer? Maybe you could set yourself a fun task for every city that you visit. Something inane, like pick up a post-card at every stop?

I hope you are getting a chance to stretch your legs...

I should definitely have worn loose cargo trousers, not jeans. They would have been comfortable and let me access pockets without squirming.

There is also no point in bringing extra clothes, since there is nowhere to change and you feel filthy anyhow.

I am now 24 hours out of Ottawa, in Thunder Bay.

The night was just darkness and uncomfortable attempts at sleep. The 'veteran bus rider' in the seat in front of me links grinding his seat back into my knees.

I am in a weird sort of hunger-state where I always feel vaguely hungry and full. The state doesn't change when I do eat.

A serious journey Milan! With a bit of luck, maybe even an enjoyable and educational one. Like lightness and weight, a lot depends on how often it will happen again. I hope either way it is going well.
