In the spring of 2005, I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in International Relations and a general focus in the area of environmental politics. We will collect a few more as a safety margin, then move on to planning how to present the brief to the new president. Quite possibly, that will take the form of a 15-minute public lecture which I will deliver in December or January, focused primarily on making the case for divestment as a financially responsible choice, since that will be the administration’s main objection to the proposal.
