Server troubles

No sooner did I mention SQL database problems than I find myself in the midst of one.

GoDaddy seems to be suffering intermittent failures of their servers hosting the database for my blog and for the wiki. As such, commenting on the blog is being spotty at the moment (try waiting a few minutes and trying to post again) and the wiki has been going up and down like a blimp flying through thermals.

Given that this is the first time I have had any serious problems with GoDaddy since moving the blog here, I remain happy with their service. It contrasts quite nicely to my constant frustration at the BlogSpot servers failing at least once a week. At $50 a year for the domain, 5GB of storage, 250GB a month of bandwidth, as well as 10 SQL databases and other services, I cannot complain about the price either.
