The Pardoner’s Tale, as rap

Baba Brinkman has recast the Pardoner’s Tale from Geoffrey Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales as a rap song, illustrated by Erik Brinkman. It actually works very well.

You can read the original in modern or Middle English.

  1. That’s fantastic! Apparently there’s a cheesy rap version of Wordsworth’s “Daffodils” floating around on YouTube somewhere too, though I’ve seen it and that, unfortunately, doesn’t work so well.

Hope Ottawa’s treating you well so far. I need to catch up on reading your blog more fully.
