Super geeky comic for all to enjoy

If you die in Canada

Kate, Mark, and other cool geeky people concur that xkcd is worth a look.

In the spring of 2005, I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in International Relations and a general focus in the area of environmental politics. Between 2005 and 2007 I completed an M.Phil in IR at Wadham College, Oxford. I worked for five years for the Canadian federal government, including completing the Accelerated Economist Training Program, and then completed a PhD in Political Science at the University of Toronto in 2023.

  1. If Amazon would guarantee five more years of free wireless Wikipedia access on the Kindle, I would seriously consider picking one up, despite the fact that I have no interest in buying eBooks.

  2. XKCD book is out

The first-ever XKCD book, “xkcd: volume 0” is now officially out and available. Part of the profits go build schools in Laos. XKCD is my favorite geeky webcomic of all time, and Randall Munroe, its creator, is a swell guy. I’m very glad about this indeed.

  3. I picked up a copy of xkcd: volume 0 in Toronto this weekend.

In addition to some great (old) comic strips, it seems to include a bunch of new jokes and puzzles rendered in red.
