  1. DU is awful stuff. That said, it does make really excellent tank armor, as well as armor penetrating sabots. It seems unlikely that its usage will be discontinued any time soon, at least by countries that are serious about fighting wars.

  2. I think it will be discontinued, because it seems to be the only cause of Gulf War Syndrome. It’s going to get tougher to fool poor people to fight wars for other people’s interests.
