Most of this span will happen in darkness, with sunrise just a couple of hours from Thunder Bay.
So far, all the buses have been completely full, though nobody I have spoken to is going as far as I am. About a day from now, I will enter Manitoba for the first time.
The AAA power source for my iPod is working well, and I have finished more than 1/3 of a book.

Sault Ste Marie is beautiful!
A serious journey Milan! With a bit of luck, maybe even an enjoyable and educational one. Like lightness and weight, a lot depends on how often it will happen again. I hope either way it is going well.
I am now 24 hours out of Ottawa, in Thunder Bay.
The night was just darkness and uncomfortable attempts at sleep. The ‘veteran bus rider’ in the seat in front of me links grinding his seat back into my knees.
I am in a weird sort of hunger-state where I always feel vaguely hungry and full. The state doesn’t change when I do eat.
I should definitely have worn loose cargo trousers, not jeans. They would have been comfortable and let me access pockets without squirming.
There is also no point in bringing extra clothes, since there is nowhere to change and you feel filthy anyhow.
Golly. You wore jeans on this epic journey?
Do you feel like an explorer? Maybe you could set yourself a fun task for every city that you visit. Something inane, like pick up a post-card at every stop?
I hope you are getting a chance to stretch your legs…
