Leguminous illustration

A comic in which Emily’s artistic talents have been combined with my egregious printing is now on her beanhead site. It is also mentioned on her blog. Tristan has produced a video about the whole beanhead phenomenon, featuring exclusive footage of Emily and I walking around in Vancouver’s Chinatown and inventing silly answers to silly questions.

In the spring of 2005, I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in International Relations and a general focus in the area of environmental politics. In the fall of 2005, I began reading for an M.Phil in IR at Wadham College, Oxford. Outside school, I am very interested in photography, writing, and the outdoors. I am writing this blog to keep in touch with friends and family around the world, provide a more personal view of graduate student life in Oxford, and pass on some lessons I've learned here.

  1. I would like to note that I do not have a lisp, but the quality of the video lends me one.

You know, just so it doesn’t seem silly.

  2. Emily,

I certainly didn’t imply ‘silly’ to be a term of derision. I was simply highlighting the whimsical, rather than serious, nature of Tristan’s documentary.

  3. Oh, I meant that in jest as well. I certainly wasn’t offended. It is quite silly.

  4. Not enough Milan in this video. I like Milan. Too much Starbucks. Wonderful to see Milan flirting though.
